03/12/2025We had an unforgettable day on our tour from Porto to the Douro Valley. The experience was perfectly paced and beautifully organized. The scenic stops along the way offered breathtaking views of the valley, and the 1-hour boat tour was a relaxing and picturesque highlight. Visiting two small, family-run wineries gave us a truly personal insight into the region’s wine culture—meeting the owners added a warm and authentic touch. The lunch was delicious, showcasing local flavors and wines. What made the day truly exceptional was our guide, Joao. His knowledge, passion, and friendly personality made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the day. This tour exceeded our expectations and gave us a real taste of the Douro Valley. Highly recommend!

03/12/2025It was an amazing experience. Each winery we visited had its own unique charm, and the tastings were well-curated, allowing us to sample a range of wines. The lunch was delicious. Overall, the tour was well-organized and provided a great mix of education and fun.

03/12/2025The day was going to be rainy, but that didn’t stop our tour. The tour was inside the wineries, inside in boat, or inside the van. We did get a few times of no rain and we made the most of the outdoors during that time. Rain or shine, worth the experience.

03/12/2025Our guide, Carla, was warm and friendly. She was knowledgeable and shared much about the region. The group was small and we enjoyed the other guests on the tour. The wine was incredible! Our meal was paired beautifully with the wine. We very much enjoyed the family run wineries and the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The only downside is that it was very cold on the boat ride and at the first winery. Not a complaint so much, we realize that is was December and it is cold in December! We would highly recommend this tour and this tour company- and Carla!

03/12/2025This trip was more than we hoped for! The guide Andre was knowledgeable, interesting, and entertaining. The two wineries we visited were exceptional. We learned so much, the people were so friendly, and it was extra special because we would never have gotten to visit these two small family owned producers on our own. We appreciated that we were never rushed and got to linger, ask questions, and really understand their winemaking process. The boat ride was fantastic as well. It felt like a magical day!

03/12/2025One of the best wine experiences I have ever done! Douro valley is breath taking and worth the trip alone but if you enjoy wine this is an incredible experience. Even the lunch (which as a picky eater I had low expectations) was amazing. Both wineries were beautiful yet 2 very different experiences. You get a really good amount of wine plus lunch and the boat ride so the price is a great a deal.

03/12/2025What a fabulous day in the Douro Valley! This trip is thoughtfully organised - visiting two wonderful, small wineries, interspersed with a delicious, traditional Portuguese lunch, leisurely 1 hour boat trip and fabulous port, wine and olive oil tastings. The hosts and guides were fantastic, and the other guests were great fun, making for an entertaining afternoon’s chat under the gazebo and in the minibus. The scenery is stunning - we’d highly recommend this experience.

03/12/2025Amy husband, cousin, and myself booked this trip originally as the one winery and the boat cruise but due to lack of interest in that itinerary, they offered for us to do the two wineries for an additional price. I thought this was nice that they didn't just cancel on us and gave us the option. Our driver/tour guide was Angelo and he was awesome and although I had a lot of anxiety about riding along those winding roads on the cliffsides, he was careful and reassuring. The wineries were both unique little spots and the lunch was so tasty and filling and cooked right on a hot fire. It was really a unique and enjoyable experience in which we met interesting people, had lovely views, and plenty to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend for someone looking to spend a day in the Douro Valley. Thank you to everyone who puts this experience together.

03/12/2025We loved this tour and highly recommend it. We had a nice, small group of people from different countries who were fun to get to know. The small wineries were just beautiful and the wine and food was excellent. It was my favorite day in Portugal. Special shout out to our tour host Andre who was so knowledgeable about wine, winemaking, and the entire region and provided a fun and wonderful experience for us.
