We had such a fun couple of hours with Andre. The whole experience was superb, very informative and great fun…with some cracking port thrown in for good measure. We went to a port house across the river last time we were in Porto but found the port tasting pairing experience to be so much more relaxed and better value. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this again next time we’re in town!! Thank you!!

What a fantastic experience. There had been a massive power cut in Portugal on the day we were to attend so the event went ahead by candlelight. It really made it even better. There were 4 of us friends and another 5 people. The presentation was great and we were all encouraged to chat. To the point that after the event was over we all went out for a drink together. Back to the event though...... The information provided was informative, interesting and the presenter both entertaining and amusing. The snacks to go with each drink were perfect matches. Although we have experienced this event we would definitely return to it. So much fun

top class, really shares years of knowledge and history with you. Great contrast to the commercial tastings you get on vila nova de Gaia side. Nothing wrong with those, but this is much more personal and very genuine! Highly recommend booking this experience! Plenty of wine to drink!

It was the blackout day, but our host welcomed us warmly and had the tasting perfectly prepared. We had candlelight, delicious port wine, matching snacks, great stories, and a wonderful atmosphere! The other participants were also relaxed, and it was an enjoyable few hours.

Had a fantastic 5-port wine tasting experience with small bite pairing! It was very reasonably priced and absolutely worth it. Joao was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and engaging—he made the tasting both informative and fun. I learned a lot about the different styles of port and felt very welcomed throughout. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area or curious about port wine!

It was such an awesome experience. Perfect for the beginner and who doesn’t have a lot of time in Porto but still wants to explore wine tasting. I learned so much from this experience and Adriano was such a sweet guide who answered all the questions with his passion and we really enjoyed it with him.

A must-do if you are in Porto! Andreas, our host, was absolutely fantastic. He was so knowledgable, friendly and inviting and really made us feel welcome. He explained lots about the port wines we tasted and was more than happy to answer questions and tell stories, sharing his experience. Could not recommend this enough.

What a great experience! I learned so much about fortified wines that I keep annoying my friends with all that knowledge. Adriano is very knowledgable and funny winemaker who truly loves what he does. I loved the pairing - I actually bought the cheese we tried because I enjoyed it so much. Overall great experience: can recommend it to anyone who wants to understand a bit more of what they are drinking.

Our port wine tasting was a great introduction to the different styles of Port and their characteristics. We loved that it was a small group experience (6 guests total), which allowed us to ask questions and kept the whole experience interactive. Each of the 5 ports we tasted also had very distinctive qualities that made it easy to determine which varietals we enjoyed the most. It was informative without being overwhelming, and our host was generous enough to allow us to sit for a bit and chat as a group after our tasting officially ended.

This was our first formal introduction to Port. Adriano enhanced our experience with historical storytelling and questioned us on the knowledge that he shared with us. We were a small group so lot of opportunities for interaction. The room provided the perfect ambiance for Port tasting. We highly recommend this tasting experience next time you are in Porto

Fantastic experience! Adriano is very knowledgeable on everything about port and Portuguese wine, a a great storyteller and a super engaging host! I happened to be the only one signed up on that day but Adriano gave me the same attention he would give a big group. The ports I tasted were each very different and had great small accompaniments to bring out the flavor. Overall, highly recommend, you’ll enjoy it and learn a ton!

It was exactly what i was expecting from a wine tasting. Lovely wines, each paired with a tasty bite and a fun piece of history (and a refill for your favourite at the end 😍) The host was amazing, a great storyteller, fun and engaging. We were lucky enough to be a group with chemistry from the start, so we had a great time and a good laugh way past the end time of the experience. I fully recommend this experience, it was really fun and educational at the same time, and would do it again!

A great introduction to Port and the varieties. Lovely space in a convenient location. Very personal and friendly. Great if you are short on time. It sparked my interest and left me feeling I want to know more! Oh the Port and pairings were delicious!!
